Joseph M. Duzan Position: Drafter and Computer Modeler Education: Associate of Science Degree in Architectural Drafting Background: Joe grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Seattle in the spring of ’06. Growing up he was able to travel to many places, nationally and abroad. Places such as Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Edmonton, Taipei, Guam, and Japan. Experience: After high school Joe went to college in Nebraska to play baseball—back to Minnesota a year later to work as a tender in the brick and stone masonry industry. Joe worked on several brick and stone houses, as well as masonry fire places. Using this knowledge of construction he decided to go back to school at Northwest Technical Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota to get his degree in Architectural Drafting. After school, he found work in Civil Engineering. Then after marrying, Joe and his wife decided to move to the Great Northwest. In Seattle he pursued his interest in the artistic side of drafting and found work in the architectural field, at Sortun-Vos. He currently enjoys working in the open atmosphere with his fellow co-workers and learning from their expertise. |
