Julie Zarek

Education: Bachelor of Arts, Anthropology, Western Washington University

Background: A native of Seattle, Julie grew up under the rainy blanket of this city. Midway through her college years at Western Washington University, Julie spent time satisfying her curiosity of life beyond Washington State by traveling across Australia and then two cross-country road trips. She has since finished college and now happily resides in Seattle.

Her daughter delights her endlessly and she revels in the ability to relive childhood as only children allow one to do. Having been raised with a soccer ball at her foot, Julie continues to enjoy playing, though less competitively, in Seattle recreational leagues. The rest of her time is spent in a more artistic manner, taking on projects as they surface.

Working at Sortun-Vos allows Julie to surround herself with creative minds while homes and buildings are imagined.
