Uri Luber

of Architecture, University of Oregon, 1994
Background: Uri is originally from Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Oregon, and majored in Architecture, a program that emphasized environmental design.
Experience: Uri started at Enclosures Architects in Los Angeles, California in 1989. From 1994 to 1997, Uri worked full time there as part of the project team on numerous residences around Southern California, from Hollywood bungalows to Beverly Hills mansions.
Uri returned to the Northwest in 1998, and settled in Seattle. Looking to broaden his experience, he took up with Thomas Roth & Associates, a firm with a diverse clientele, mostly in the public works field. He worked on a wide range of projects including low-income public housing, and a local fire station.
Uri came to Sortun-Vos Architects in 2000 as a project designer. In the years since, he’s worked on dozens of residential and commercial projects, in a multitude of architectural styles, putting great thought into building analysis, planning and development. He also is the firm’s IT manager, leading the office in the use of computer building information modeling and the use of technology in the home and office.
