Uri Luber

Position: Project Designer

Education: Bachelor of Architecture, University of Oregon, 1994

Background: Uri grew up in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Oregon, and majored in Architecture, a program that emphasized environmental design.

Experience: After graduation, Uri returned to Los Angeles, where he worked at Enclosures Architects, a firm specializing in custom residential work. He worked on dozens of residences around Southern California, in a multitude of architectural styles, from Hollywood bungalows to Beverly Hills mansions.

Uri returned to the Northwest in 1998, and settled in Seattle. Looking to broaden his experience, he took up with Thomas Roth & Associates, a firm with a diverse clientele, mostly in the public works field. He worked on a wide range of projects including low-income public housing, and a local fire station. Supplementing his work with Thomas Roth, Uri helped on a number of projects for Webster Architects, including several new Seattle residences and a church in Bellevue

Uri came to Sortun-Vos Architects in 2000, looking to focus more exclusively on residential work.
