The Hartwich Building

The 60's era facade masked the entry and interior stair and gave nothing to the urban fabric of this commercial district.
Having recently purchased this Greenwood area building, the owners were enthused to bring life to street level and have a permanent home for A.Muse Art Stamps.
Sortun·Vos was asked to help convert the single use office building to a mix of retail and lease office space upstairs.
Almost 5 feet of unused space between the north wall and neighboring building offered the perfect opportunity. The interior sky-lit stair now climbs along that north wall, maximizing the ground floor for retail, and the second floor for office.
