Secluded Home Bainbridge Island, Washington Located on a secluded lot on Bainbridge Island, Sortun·Vos sited the house carefully to fit into the wooded site, and also allow for natural daylight to penetrate into the interior spaces. The plan centers around the kitchen, with an intimate inglenook. Bright colors on the walls, and warm wood floors and cabinets help brighten the often dreary northwest days. Completed, 1998.
