A classic bungalow in an historic Seattle neighborhood, Sortun·Vos was asked to design a kitchen with more work space and a better connection to the dining and living rooms, additional bedrooms and an informal family room.

Landscaped gardens now integrate with the house. A vaulted ceiling with an overscaled window is featured in the kitchen. New detailing compliments the original.

Usable floor space was doubled by excavating and remodeling the basement. We worked closely with the owner to coordinate early construction stages and assisted in selecting a general contractor for completion.
