Dormer Addition Seattle, Washington Contractor: Renovations Const. Built as a second phase for a favorite client—this second floor additon nestles in to the existing roof line as if it were always there. An intimate reading area with built-in book shelves opens at the top of the stairs. Large casements open to the garden below, and a set of small windows look out toward views of Lake Washington. A full bathroom was added matching the Fir cabinetry and Richlite® cabinetry in the kitchen. The tub area is surrounded by Arts & Crafts tile with small casement window for ventilation. In the midst of construction we discovered a void in an exterior wall that we were able to turn into a cozy little window seat, with a glimpse of Lake Washington! Completed 2007
