Leaking roof decks led to dormer additions on the waterside of this Lake Sammamish home, expanding existing bedrooms and views. A new front entry, front dormer for a study, plus plan changes were also a part of this total remodel. The owners expressed a desire for more of a Cape Cod look with painted siding and wide white painted trim. Blending old with new to create a unified finished design was the primary goal of this project.

This project also provided an opportunity to work with noted Seattle glass artist Gerry Newcomb in the design of the front entry doors.
