Sortun·Vos Architects, with contractor Brook and Company, transformed this 1980's master bathroom. Finishes were updated and failing components such as windows and tile replaced.

Our collaboration with the owner led us to an Asian influence design, with soft northern light and varied textures of natural wood and stone.

The shower is defined by a change in texture on the floor and a simple glass divider. A feeling of spaciousness is created without adding floor area. Sliding soji screens allow exterior views or privacy when closed.
