In the early 1990's Sortun·Vos completed a main level kitchen and deck addition, with office below for the previous owners of this craftsman style home. The new owners contacted Sortun·Vos to help add more usable space for their growing family. The existing basement was excavated to create more headroom, and a new family room, office and bathroom were created. A new entry was created on the main level. The old upstairs dormers were completely removed and new, more contemporary dormers added. The design attempts to mix contemporary and traditional detailing and ideas.
